Federal Skilled Worker
For skilled workers with foreign work experience who want to immigrate to Canada permanently.
Minimum Requirements:
- Skilled work experience
- At least one year of full-time skilled work experience, or an equal amount in part-time work.
- Within the last 10 years, and
- Must be in the same NOC type (O, A or B).
- Language ability
- Must take an approved language test and meet the minimum benchmark level 7 in all abilities.
- Language test results are valid for 2 years.
- Education
- For Foreign education, a completed credential.
- An Educational Credential Assessment for immigration purposes from a designated organization showing equivalency to Canadian education.
All requirements must be met to be eligible.

These factors are part of a 100-point grid. Current pass mark is 67 points.
